The
Salt River AIS is a local service center and Literature Distribution
Center (LDC) for Conference Approved Literature, and is supported by the
member groups it serves throughout the Greater Phoenix Area. A staff
of dedicated Al-Anon and Alateen volunteers perform day-to-day activities.

Our Business Meetings are held the second Tuesday of
each month at 7:00 p.m. - everyone is welcome to attend.
Publish and
distribute meeting lists for the Greater Phoenix Area. Information
is updated monthly.
Refer
individuals to local Al-Anon Family Group meetings.
Direct those
wanting to establish Al-Anon/Alateen meetings to District Representatives.
Provide
24-hour answering referral service for times and locations of meetings
throughout the Greater Phoenix Area.
Act as an
avenue for public information about what Al-Anon/Alateen is, where
Al-Anon/Alateen is, and what Al-Anon/Alateen can and cannot do to help
persons who are affected by another's drinking.
Provide
literature and volunteer speakers, when available, for professionals,
health fairs, and public functions.
Help
establish Al-Anon/Alateen meetings in institutions such as, but not
limited to hospitals, treatment centers, correctional facilities, and
juvenile homes.
Maintain a
stock of Conference Approved Literature (CAL). CAL may be purchased
when visiting the office, placing an order by phone or mailing in an order
form (call (602) 249-1257 if you need a form mailed to you.)
